Save the Glamorgan Pub from demolition

The campaign to save the Glamorgan Pub from demolition has taken a further advance this last week with the setting up of a formal community group with a constitution and the election of officers. Details of the meeting can be found at

Since July 2017 local residents have been meeting as a campaign group to see what actions they can take to stop the site been turned into a housing development. The Save the Glamorgan campaign has submitted an Asset of Community Value (ACV) to Croydon Council and we are awaiting the outcome of this application. If granted it will make it much harder for the developer to demolish the building and will make it easier for campaigners to keep the building as a pub.

The next meeting of the Save the Glamorgan is on Wednesday 6th December 2017 at 7pm, Croydon Town Hall.

Please let us know if you want to help with this campaign, drop us an email or follow us on our SavetheGlam Facebook Page.
