The importance of Croydon Central as a key marginal for Labour was underlined by the visit to Addiscombe by the Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls. On Bank Holiday Monday, Ed took time out from his campaign, to help elect Sarah Jones as MP for Croydon Central, to spend time talking to local business owners on Lower Addiscombe Road. Ed was very keen to listen to what local business owners concerns were and explained how an incoming Labour government could help them.
